To A New Year!!

By northpointapartment

I wish everyone a very happy prosperous new year! May it be your year of happiness! I don’t do resolutions, I am more of the type to just try your best all the time. I like to work on strengths. I wish you all the luck, if you do.

I wanted to offer my $.02 for the new year for happiness. My guide to happiness, LOL.

1) Live like you are dying. Unfortunately, I have been on my death bed. We are not promised tomorrow. Tell your friends and loved ones what they mean to you now, while you have the chance. Live each day to the fullest. We can never get back lost time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Do what you would love to do while you are able. Go for it!

2) Dreams. You are never to young or to old to chase them. They make take time, but it doesn’t hurt to go for them! You must first believe to succeed!

3) Friendships. Friends are such a wonderful gift! Cherish and water each one. It’s the best investment you can ever make. Nothing brings larger dividends!

4)Volunteer. It’s not when you were born, or when you die that people remember- it’s what you do in between. Find something with your interest, it can fulfill your life more than you could ever imagine. Your problems will seem so much smaller, and it will bring you true happiness.

5)Happiness within. I believe true happiness comes within. We are all human and can disappoint. We can’t live up to others standards they may have of us, we get busy, and all fall short. I think serving others is a great way to get it. If you depend on others for your happiness, you may get disheartened.

6)Stumbling. We all stumble and get hit with hard things. It’s all how you look at it, and temporary. Even if you have the worst diagnoses, you can use it to help others and make a difference. There is light and the end of the tunnel, and worrying won‘t change a thing. If you are sick, keep a journal for your children. Best gift they can ever get.

7) Smile. I have found myself at the store in my own little world, and someone will smile at me, and it catches on. I can’t help but smile back!

8)Bring out the best in others. If you do, you are sure to get more in return. You will feel great also.

9) Laugh. Laughter is the best medicine for anything! A good laugh will brighten any day.

I want to thank you all for reading! I wanted to take a moment and thank my family, special friends-my angels, the Town of Spring Lake, my sponsors for sports- you truly make a difference in these kids lives, and to my church family- you mean the world to me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
